Does anyone have a copy of ISO 12217-2 on stability for multihulls that they could give out

    Thank you

Excellent work and very useful thank you..

A question though - I have unlocked the sheet to look at the formulae and wonder how you arrived at those for materials cost and build time, also am I right in thinking those would be for composite sandwich construction?

I am going to try and compile a database of similar designs which can be linked from another sheet within the workbook - perhaps this could be a collaboration from the group too - although I will kick it off, time permitting...

I also have the thought to try - although I am not sure it is 'doable' - to add scantlings to the 'parameter' sheet for various regulating bodies.

Once again thank you for sharing this

    Kind regards Andy

    Hmmmm

I have just realized that my reply above should be in a different thread - should I move it or leave it here - can I even do that?

Does anybody know where I can find some more detail information about the power catamaran stability and resistance?

    Something interesting here:
    http://www.john-shuttleworth.com/Articles/NESTalk.html
and in the "Archival" material at the bottom of this page:

About the ISO rules, you can buy them at a good price here:
    http://www.evs.ee/Entity/tabid/58/language/en-US/Default.aspx

For resistance predictions you can use Michlet, although unluckily version 8.09 has been removed and 9.01 is still not there.

Perhaps some other member of these forums know how to get the latest version.

    Cheers.
