Hi, I am planning to build a wharram Tiki 21 here in the Philippines. I've read that monoethylene glycol is a good preservative against rot. Would epoxy still adhere well to monoethylene glycol treated plywood? I need to apply fiberglass cloth/epoxy to the outside of the hull and coat the inside with epoxy. I am thinking about the glycol as an added precaution and added protection together with the epoxy/glass coating. Thanks!

There's link in some thread (considering the very same subject) around here about the subject I'll check if I find it. But the answer is Yes with precaution..
