I recommend to use Autodesk forums. They answer quick and are specialists within the software.

Delftship is free, and very capable. For a more easy to use I suggest using Fusion 360, also free. It allows to create hull from both hull lines and forming a shape etc. Fusion 360 is however not capable of hydrostatic calculations.
