The Germans or Soviets did a preliminary design for a submarine, plane in WWII, saw it on a recent TV show, therefore it must be true. Better yet our own Military cast about for it also, see:

Don't know how, one is trying to keep extreme pressure outside, & the other is trying to keep extreme relative pressure in.... Try to breathe out and in at the same time.??? I think the breathing trick would be easier

Wow, is that the prototype??? But it seems on the illustration, that "FANTASTIC FLYING SUB" is using a sort of hydro-foil for underwater and when it gets up in the atmosphere, it vacuums air.

what if, from the reference of sir jehar's popular mechanics fantastic flying sub is applied to this vessel...(not the wings, it will ruined her beauty)

oh boy, I remember an animation that looks like with this one, the name of the vessel on the animation was "NAUTILUS"...and the skippers name is Capt. Nemo. Then, on the further lasts episode of the animation the flying sub, hasten above the earth to pursuit the enemy and prevent blasting the earth with a some sort of energy coming from the mystical blue stone....

The ideal beauty for a boat would be "human female" lightly clad (in nothing) but as in the boat itself, I am partial to multihulls - the designs of John Hitch, Kanga Bartles, Robin Chamberlin and Bob Oram come to mind, with the original philosophy of Bertram - 'come back from fishing, hose it down and finish'..... - - all to much plush cushions, polished brass, scrubbed teak, high gloss varnished rails and superfluous trash on modern "luxury boats" - for what?...

Charlie, I give you that boat, knowing it will go to someone who can appreciate it???

I see what you mean Mas (no more "sir" addresses ) for the ideal beauty of a boat would be likely "human female" but a "goddess"...

I get over to Miami and Fort Lauderdale occasionally on business, try to swing by the mega marinas. I saw Skat, which looks a bit like a warship with her sleek lines and gray paint. Very cool, so different from the white wedding cakes floating all around. A very beautiful integration of classic and modern lines, IMHO, was the Palmer Johnson beauty, La Baronessa (now named Frequency - I like La Baronessa better). I spent an hour or so going over her when she was moored in Miami Beach a year after she was launched. Stunningly beautiful. Next time I have $80 million with no plans for it, I might just buy her and give her back her original name.

Don't anyone hold your breath, please. I'll give you all plenty of notice before I do it.

I love it, could use some retractable hydrofoils and a couple of obsevation bubbles. I like the clean look, looks like it's begging to take on a 100 foot high Rouge Wave just to prove it's self.

How to do it

A ship that can submerged under the deepest sea like the submarine and can fly to outer space like the space shuttle...
Do we think in our kind of technology, someone could design or prove some research regarding with this "Flying Submarine"...
I know it is a silly imaginary concept coming from me, but...it's really fascinating if this is built for real....

It is feasible with existing technology. But to generate the thrust required for a vehicle that heavy to go from the surface into space you'd need an Orion nuclear pulse propulsion system.
