      Doug,
When you design a boat like this, what point did you use to figure your LCG, from the transom where the platform is mounted or the end of the running surface where the surface drive mounts? Does the fact that you have a single step forward effect the decision as to where to locate the LCG?

      Dennis,
When discussing the Lcg I will usually reference the transom (or aft end of the running surface) and describe the location of Lcg as a percentage of DWL at rest forward of the transom (or end of running surface) I will target a region aft of the step for the Lcg to fall, so that equalibrium is obtained at a certain trim at a certain speed. I concider the extension beyond the running surface not to be relevant to the hydrodynamics except for the weight it represents.
