Gerard DeRoy: Engine room

The engine room looking aft. Located under the pilothouse floor. It is 11 ft wide, 12 feet long and 43 in. high on average. there will be 1 ft off waterproof insulation on all sides giving roughly 140 cubic feet of flottaison. there will be an additional 50 cubic feet under the cockpit floor and 24 cubic floor in the forward bulkhead for a total of 14000 lbs of flottaison.The hull, deck and pilothouse (wood core ) have a definite positive flottaison. Intended maximum displacement of 15000 lbs will leave us with an unsinkable boat!
