i like it and it does works and its daring,
however its not really new as far as i can see from here.

the story goes that this type of worm was -late 17e? century- tested under a boat as means of propulsion till it hit debris and broke and so they found out the remaining section worked beter (less resistance) and the worlds 1e boatprop as we know them was invented.

that said, this worm system is today used in modern special purpose vehicles like forexample in swamps or mud, (i've seen foto's of big rubber pumped up worm drives beeing used) or submarine applications etc.

i did like to see another onorthodox propulsion idea here, am surprised you could get it it still patented (da vinci invented the wormpump yes?) and had to say what i knew about this drive. good luck to you!
