Instead of a schooner rig with masts in line and the aft sail receives bad air from forward sail, the forward sail will make in theory one sail. Also, easy to shunt.

Want to build scale model for multihull design. What is typical scale? 1:20? How do you scale weight? I have 37kg existing hull and cat hulls. Scale- 1:20? 1:50? 1:100?

yes that’s what I am looking for balestron rig. Its how the gooseneck is constructed and how the mast step rotates and without friction. Probably like how a laser mast sits in the deck.. but not sure. Maybe I am overthinking.

I have googled and can’t find drawings of Aero Rig sail construction. Looking for ideas how they pivot. Gear? Bicycle sprocket? Bearings? Intersection of boom and mast?

Has anyone converted a jet ski to electric sail drive water craft. I want to take an outboard leg and mount the gear box and prop in the hull where the jet drive is located. Would I get cavitation/ poor performance if located there? What electric motor brand are people using? Of course need...

Ok so much to think about. The intended 24’ power tri is only 8’ between amas so, didn’t think the sail would be too big and since it is 8’ wide, didn’t want to capsize.

Great ambition- I wish I had something like that growing up, but science wasn’t my thing. More area for solar panels with a cat. Maybe hydro electric? Build a website to get the word out.
