    I have used a #1 perforating Roller on 2 mill plastic sheeting before and it worked ok,Nothing replaces Real Peel ply though.

    Peeling gelcoat?? I use a makita planer, the carbide knives are cheap and reversible,Cleanup and tight areas with a 4" grinder.

    I wound up using #14 Screws they tightened well also one has to use caution against dimpling Via point loading when mounting the sheets.
