i have just finished building a small 2.7m assymetric cat dinghy for my 40 ft catamran and im just wondering if theres an easy way for me to find...
i think they term seaworthiness as being enjoyment of sailing in slightly adverse conditions which doesnt happen in low bridgedeck catamarans due...
i thought it was the fact that you used assymetric hulls that allowed the boat to bank like a monohull as any assymetric cat will not the foil?? sean
ill add to this how does a sailing catamaran overcome its displacement speed say 8 knots to move at speeds of 20 knots or so? sean

id go the jarcat, quicker to build, great to motor if you need to or have no wind and they sail pretty well to, id put real rudders and daggers on...

from the sailing ive done on them they tack and sail very well, one bloke managed to get 7.5 knots out of 6 knots wind with main and screecher...
they are easy to build and for me it was mostly a lot of fun, beats watching television anyway sean
