Looking at a 1969 tri-hull Thunderbird...is the interior bottom floor sandwiched ?---Is there wood, maybe rotten, under the glass? Thanks everyone!

I own two Woodson 18s ...similar hull and same designer/builder. The deck is plywood over wood stringers. I've replaced the deck and the transom wood in both of mine over the years. Used epoxy instead of polyester resin.

    BMcF,

    How many years ago?
Did you use marine ply or standard?
    Thanks.

marine ply. The deck and transom in the '64 was replaced in '92 and the same was replaced in the '68 around 2000.
