mercury joystick piloting

    good for docking in a stiff breeze or just for newbie's?

    its used on pods, sterndrives and now outboards they say, hm, first time i see this..
    joystick computes direction into 2 (or 3) independent trotle, fwd, rev, trim and steering ob's?
    trying to comprehend and wonder if its worth it, anyone try'd or with thoughts?
