Next time I go out in conditions like that I'm bringing my own photographer so I get the pictures I want to keep, not the ones the paper thinks look the worst.

AFAIK the Tsunami missed Puget Sound completely. We have been getting some pretty good wind though the last few days. I'm looking forward to getting back out in the waves :D

Me too --I only go out in force 9's or over myself or in tsnanmis, I don't have my own photographer --no point there is always plenty following me to the beach when I open the garage door and get the board out.

Yeah dude im sure they just hang waiting for you to come out the door.

have you ever noticed that, the photographer never catches your good side, they never catch you doing good,if you slip and fall your picture is taken, not when you you are walking down the hill full of ice. You can scratch your nose but if you you pick it, your picture will be gotten...

the "good" pictures were not "news worthy" to put on the front page. They are after all in the business of selling news papers.

I am interested to know why, other than they are maybe looking for a new James Bond did they post that photo of you in the news.

What was the caption? The cover page photo is normally used to attract people to buy the paper.

I can inform you that they are not in fact looking for a new James bond. After lengthy negotiations I have accepted the offer.

The article was on the wind warning issued for the county. The specific headline was "High wind watch issued for county".

In related news, Scientists announce they have found a new source of limitless energy. Soon they hope to figure out how to harness Frosty's ego for the benefit of mankind :p

Hey Hippo--Do you have a mirror? of course you do, what a silly question--take a look in it and tell me what you see.
