A name for this on-board nav/monitoring system

Myself and Masalai have been thinking about this and we've come up with a few names. Since this is an open-source project I thought we should have a vote on it.

If you have any other ideas for names, please post them.

How about 'Roll the Dice" or 'Guess !' or 'Open Sesame' or 'One Way'

What does the nav/monitoring system do ? Is it for some kind of a training program ?

If I guess right, do I win something

 

See "Retread the old coder's head?" for details, but broadly it is a piece of platform independent software (Windows/Mac/Linux) to provide the functionality of a chart plotter for free, with the ability to monitor (and control) engines, tanks, valves, electronics etc.

Swallows have to find their way over great distances, doesn't get lost and has to be self-sustained for the duration of their voyage. Maybe 'wind swallow' could be some kind of a name... unless you want to call it nimo

even seem to have the exiting all new 3D charts ( but misses alot of other functions )
there is / use to be a broad choice in free navigation software and charts
last time i checked trend was into multi monitor multi million bridges tho
but a gps + old laptop can do wonders. tsunami, previously named navisailor
i found one of the best but thats over a decade ago now, still works tho

Open Seas is good. So is Open Ocean.

How about Open Course?

 

Yes Danish "OpenOceans" has better english impact & no spaces lends its self to most software platforms.

how about that OpenCourse (as in "OpenSource")? – I guess that one won't be marketable, though …

 

Its GPL so no need to worry about marketing.
