ventilator frequency and heating

    I have designed a mold which can be heated using air boxes.I purchased an hot blower which has to be modified.The specification of the blower says at if 40 hertz is the ventilator frequency i can get a hot air velocity of 20m/sec.
    My mold is 13m long, please give me some idea or give me some relation between ventilator frequency and heating

    If you do decide to run a 50Hz motor at 60Hz, just observe that the current limit of the motor is not being exceeded, then you should be okay.

    I am not sure what is it you are asking. If the heater and blower are designed for 40Hxz and that is the frequency you are running them at, it should heat at the rated power. 40Hz is a weird frequency though. At higher frequencies the RMS will be lower. However, depending on the motor design, it may run slower or faster. The heating element is easy to calculate, the air volume depends on many variables.
