    Just trying to get myself, My buddy, Two chicks and a cooler full of beer to a near by sand spoil. Maybe 120 yards away.

    What are they?? empty beer kegs, or barrels? It looks good. All you have to remember is that they could get stuck in sand, or get snagged. Build it so it won't fall appart. The flotation should be alright though. If you don't put any motor on it, nobody can legally complain...unless they call it littering (ha ha ha)

    You first click on the thumbnail. When that image comes up ,you move the cursor ( mouse arrow) off of the image and then back on. Two colored things will pop up, one in the upper left corner with 4 functions to choose from and one in the bottom right corner with arrows to enlarge the image. Click on that. Sam

    Displacement vs weight of raft

    Figure out the volume of the kegs.
    Then figure out how much the whole set up will weigh.
    If the volume of the kegs converted to the weight of water they would displace is much higher than the weight of the structure and anything else that will be sitting on it then it will work.
