Wigley hull wih assymetric and symetric

    is there anyone have video tutorial how to create wigley hull symetric ?
    I really need that video or Is there anyone have course to create wigley hull in maxsurf ? .
    This is urgent , I really need that. Pleaseeee

    They have a parabolic section shape (parabola on it's side, vertical at the waterline and curving in to the keel. They have parabolic waterlines - the "origin" at midship. They have a box shape when viewed from the side - all waterlines run full length.

    first of all , thanks for the response . even you said that I have understood . but the tutorial or step to create in maxsurf or rhino , i don't know how

    Just check longitudinal symmetric airfoils

    These designs were done by Micronesian people in proa boats since 3000 years ago, and while sail or flat rudder are the first fluidfoils Micronesians invented the first volumetric or 3d shaped and cross-section asymmetric foil while 3000 years later they were applied for aircraft design in the 1920s

    The hull acts as a common keel creating lift windward just like recent comanche daggerboards but without creating heel

    There is a Rhino3D Wigley hull on GrabCAD that the author mentions that it came from Maxsurf.
    My academic copy of Maxsurf Modeler 2024 has 4 Wigley hulls in the sample section.
