    Thanks JEH,
Sadly, as most of us suspected...

At least 2 things are recognized...
    1) The US/USCG doesn't have and needs a unified way to handle small submersible regulations (even though Ocean Gate didn't comply with applicable existing federal and state law/regulations.)
    2) The US/USGC doesn't have and needs a unified operational search, rescue, and recovery team/plan for subsea operations (even though the US Navy founded the DSSP after the loss of the USS THRESHER, that has been allow to wither.)

Edit: changed "deep submergence" to "subsea operations" to align with the report.

Well. Not much to say. The report is comprehensive and even more disgusting than we’ve discussed here.
    The vessel was stored outside.

The acoustics increased then stopped, then increased again and the CEO disregarded the ‘tell’.

And the Coast Guard also owned their lack of oversight.

All the other basic stuff like manufacturing defects we all witnessed also gets mentioned.

The investigator did a good job, if anyone is asking me.

A trial with evidence against, so to say. Very interesting(surprising) to find in this report quasi all that has been already presented to the public. The whole history of the company and the fortunes of test models, to highlight the "toxic" behaviour of the founder. Some conclusions saying everything and nothing in particular like :
6.1.1.5. TITAN’s carbon fiber hull design and construction in terms of winding,
curing, gluing, thickness of hull and manufacturing standards introduced flaws
that weakened its original structural integrity, and those flaws likely worsened
    over time.

Important Safety recommendations that I try to resume here :

They discuss the finding if a sim card without any mission records that survived is all.
