Which composite material?...pics

    fallguy and others, thanks for the help on this so far!

    I'd like to buy materials next week. Can anyone comment on how many layers of 1708 should be used to create solid glass bulkheads with no core material. OEM buildup was 1/2" plywood with 1 layer of (chopped strand??) per side, then tabbed in. Bulkheads measure 17" tall by 38" wide and nothing sits on top of them. I'm thinking they were less for structural integrity and more for simply dividing storage compartments.

    I plan on doing 4 layers and seeing how that feels.

    Four layers is not super strong. It won't provide much lateral strength.

    It would be better to use 1/2" plywood with one layer each side and tab them in with two 4" tapes
