Well said and agree.. The best quests here do also take several pages and days before they are solved and meanwhile we have the opportunity learn a great many of things and events all around the world.. :)
The only thing I'm a bit sad is the lack of time to participate lately. :(

I am British, had the same thought as Hoyt, but 'Oh Dear' was not my reaction. ;)

    Your decision mate.

But we have agreed on these rules and like to keep them, as long as we have no better rules.

It was our intention NOT to form a clique and keep others out, which lead us to these rules.
Being around the world for many times, I know a lot of places, and I often stay out of 3 or 4 puzzles voluntarily, not to make it boring for my fellow members to play here.
Posting teasers about places nobody else has been before, IS the salt in our soup here and we do it on purpose (or try at least).
By so far it was fun.

    I pass my turn.
Angel has be kind to explain me the system, I like it, but I have to prepare a surprise.
So it will take some time, but I will have first to guess one, so I can get in the line
    Thanks all.

You must not give any clue!

The most impressive fact here is, the people go a incredible length, and have it.

You have not seen our extremes, have you?

But please stay as decent as you are now. Welcome to the club...

By the shadows it looks to be on the east or southeast shoreline. There is a palm tree, I think, so it is at least subtropical. It can't be north of S. Carolina, but the terrain is wrong for the S.E. United States. I would have to say if U.S. territory it might be Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
