I was thinking you might install a large bird feeder directly above the dish.

(I'm thinking the OP rents 27 and Mr Dish rents 25)

Put a fish-pond in his driveway.

Bingo! We have a winner! :p

The guy wasn't unreasonable when I talked to him. It was the installer (read lazy *******) who told him it was ok. He's got to call the satellite provider and make arrangements to have it moved and the holes fixed.

So hopefully all's well that ends well with no spirits or blood being spilled. Besides I don't own a gun. The best I could do is hurl some hairy ***'d ole' sailor insults at him and hope he doesn't shoot back. ;)

I was a bit disappointed though. I was gonna lasso it and yank it off the roof with my Jeep! :D

Actually if you look at pictures carefully and depending on intrepidtation (lol) the little piece of roof seems to be on his side of wall. Talk to you homeowners association, then code enforcement, and check your survey.

I don't have a very good pic to illustrate it but the dividing wall extends out from the front of the building. According to the survey the legal division between the units is the exact center of this wall. See yellow arrow in the photo below.

The project was surveyed, approved, permitted and inspected so there's no way I was encroaching on the other side. There is about 1/4" of asphalt shingle that hangs over.

We have no such thing as a home owners association. Code enforcement was there they issued the permits. My survey is accurate and up to date.

I say highjack his feed and transmit a "looped" DVD of Nixon's, "I'm not a crook" speech over and over again.

They are more suited to people of a sunny disposition, and not for old
curmudgeons who are spoiling for a feud before they know the facts of a
    case. :)

I am missing something here, where is the identity of the installer established ? Probably a wrong address mistake by the installer. Could be worse, I heard of a house being dismantled by a demolition crew who got the address confused,

Your first pic shows a house, the second shows the dish with a view of a next door neighbour.

A little clarification ie. the porch roof is mine..the brick is mine on the right and the vinyl is his on the left.

The way i saw it was the guy with the blue car next door behind the hedge that did it....

Is this a sign of a lot of bored old farts looking for some excitement (or should that be excrement?) in their lives?
