I reckon your chine line should be high and wide forward, especially as you need a bit of reserve bouyancy with the high floor, and also you have less chance of taking waves over the front of an open boat in adverse conditions. But it also gives a decent straight vee forward.

Another thing to avoid in a centre console is too plumb a stem/forefoot, which makes a wet boat even with flare above the chine, imo. You need a good rake to keep the spray down, but obviously it is just a matter of how much enters the boat, not whether you can stop it. All just my ideas of course !

Ok what about for someone who just started boating/fishing or someone who has just started chartering ?

And what is a stem/forefoot and what do you mean with plumbing ?

I have thought about that also.
What I thought for that part is to put it at a similar height as Regulator.

Haha, the vagaries of language and its limitations..... The stem is the bit on the centreline above the water at the bow, and "plumb" means vertical. Rake is the angle to the vertical.

You might stretch the boat a few feet for an open transom.

I think this Italian design is a 23 footer.

So I have to keep the stem out of the design and I will need to ad a sharp rake to the hull ?
