What type of 4-8 metre hull for speed around 30-35 knots in calm water?

    and what's going to happen when that calm sea has a 1m chop due to some wind on the sea.
    For a family boat?
    What HP you want to use?
    can you be a little more specific in lenght?

    The engines are gonna be outboard motors. The first assumption of the length is 33 feet.
    I ll try to let the beam and draught vary in case of not enough buoyancy.

    ? it is probably me but 33ft is 10.05 meters.
