    I suggest Dudley Dix designs. He designs great stitch and glue and some cool rounded chine

    Take a look at the duckworks website (sorry I can't figure out how to insert a link :()they have a nice collection of boats, by various designers.
    Or try the dngoodchild. com website, if you like vintage design.

    I'm building the "Compact", it's fun but be prepared to do a lot of figuring out.
