Celebrity of the day is the striped beakfish that washed up on the Washington shoreline in a 20 foot Japanese fishing boat. It came 4500 miles and two years. How did it survive crossing the ocean in a small 30-gallon hold? The stern was submerged and the hold became an open topped mini-ecosystem for the striped beakfish. (also found off Hawaii so it might only have stowaway for the last part of the trip.)
