Cyclone Rene photos - 130 K winds - Tonga direct hit - photos

    Cyclone Rene went over us yesterday. 130K gusts 90 K sustained. I took a bunch of photos. In fact one of every boats mooring gear in the harbor before the cyclone and then could watch the results. Mainly what I saw was every boat that prepared did just fine, and the ones that did not prepare ended up on the rocks.

    Very interesting, Scott.

    I'm curious to see, once the storm is past and the damage tallied, how your "pre-storm" photos of preparations and mooring gear compare to the "post-storm" tally of how much damage was done to which boats.... are you planning to publish a report of some kind?
