    Well, I think kites are a good option to consider. You can sail to wind as well as any sail, they can provide as much lift as you desire by flying up or ahead, you can fly them high to where there's some real wind and you don't have to use a mast - or much od one any way. The only unknown is probably a sensible and comfortable way to handle these.

    For once I can say I'm ahead of Manie who is now in the big model test stage :D On the other hand I still have a building to build before I can do the hulls :( The city council are now arguing which devision it is that has to grant the permission for the size the building is going to be. As I said before, I'm still not sure what I've let myself into here. Take deep breaths :D

    I am headed to the store to buy the lumber for the
    building jig!

    The plans have changed again, it looks like I am going
    to be doing it all myself! Don't ever depend on someone
    else if there is any way around it!

    Park a wheelbarrow and a couple of shovels in your front
    yard and you will find out who your real friends are!

    Let the boat building begin!
