    i think he sittin on basket,,suggestion,,if waves over 6 inches,,dont stop. where ta hell is his marking lights,,,this thing could end up costin lots once you add up the fines..

    dont want nothin ta do with texas,,that place,,well,,,is like a sunk pump,,,sukz...
    that freakin pumkin boat is startin to look like my way of travel,,wonder if i can put candle in it at nite,,,hehe

    You can build a skin-on-frame kayak for about $100, less if you can salvage lumber and rip the stringers down yourself. Canvas or nylon skin, surplus latex or oil based paint. Usually less than 100 hours to build from scratch. Last one I scratch built took about 24 man hours, and about $50 worth of stuff I bought at garage sales and second hand stores.

    lots of great places in Maine to use a kayak.
