Bill Gates upgraded from his 60M yacht to 600M yacht and is preselling it so the buyer can have design input.

If he askd for 6 hottubs on the lido deck; my money is you’d draw it.

I have finally realised this ridiculous thread was meant to be a joke.
All I can say is humour does not travel well by electrons.

As far as foolish boat designs go,
remember there is no correlation between money and brains.
How do you propose we rectify that?

Imagine, that someone enters (hypothetically) Steve Jobs' office, saying: ''Hey Steve, I want you to make me a computer with the following features... (*we hear mumbling*)... - oh: and I also want it to have a coffee machine and a microwave; long business hours, you understand.

I stopped building stupid things years ago. Stupid folks with too much money are exactly the entitled idiots who become a huge problem when you can't make water flow uphill. "I paid good money for that feature"

Some system complexity is nice. Have spent some time getting paid really well to install systems that could be solved much cheaper. Who am I to say no turning down the work.... gotta claw some of that money back to the unwashed masses (me).

Last project was sourcing some very expensive waterproof 24v 3 way switches. Wired it up so that the anchor winch selector as well as pto can be turned on from the deck, wheel house and anchor winch.... cause the owner aways forgot to turn on the anchor circuit before running up on the bow. It was several thousand dollars between the wiring, switches, enclosure and the labor to run wires. But it beat remembering to flip a switch on the dash.

@comfisherman - this switch solution does make a practical sense. And it adds boating happiness. Where other requests (see @DogCavalry) will often be just unable to produce such 'boating happiness'. And when it later does not work, it was''us'' who failed (officially) of course. It's a little like a car being driven into a wall at 50 mph - and the reason why it broke was ''poor design''
And finally @gonzo ... Steve may have given me that coffee choice - for 4 times its market price. He might have felt upset though to pay 4 times his boat's price. Or perhaps I just deal with the wrong type of people myself?

That's exactly what I actually try to apply to my family 33 sea pontoon design.
And I'm not the first to do this because such boats exist.
And I don't want to pay a lot for it.

I'm a bit stuck on the boat transport stage. I don't like trailers. But I could get a new driver's license category. Or I'll use two cars for transport.

The drives will be based on Merc Alpha , I hope it will last at least a season.
It weighs about three times less than the Fallguy boat .
Toy deck vehicle is dirtbike that is necessary for transport logistic and supply.
Hydrofoils are next stage after normal floats. Thats why I need special drives.
The air conditioning is my own design. Toilet probably will be my own design without neccesity of waste emptying.As a folding cat it will suffer low comfort but I will try to design some folding interiors.

You are right , I will no bother with that kind of toilet at sea.
That no-dump toilet was designed for rv or fresh water.
I just scare of the movie scene when guy dump waste from rv in quiet suburbs at Christmas.
