Good day to all of you. I have just joined the boatdesign forum based on the wealth and quality of information being shared on these forums.
I was wondering if ayone would volunteer information on the Vagabond 47 Cutter Ketch build by Blue Water Yachts in Taiwan. The one of interest was built in 1989. I am planning to check the boat out in March and if OK a comprehensive survey would follow.
I am fishing for information on what particular area of the boat could be a concern area. For example I gathered so far that although the teak deack is great, rot could be trapped between teak and GRP hull. I also heard of problem with the rather large bowsprit.
She is not renowned for speed but is acknowledged as an excellent live aboard for extensive short handed blue cruising.
Any information would be much appreciated.

    Francis
