I have a 4.0 KW Genset. I believe I have isolated the problem to the Overspeed Shut down switch. Does anyone know how to check these? There are three terminals T1= coil; T2= grd; T3= B+. Checking with a VOM I get the following readings:
    T1 to grd = 75k ohms
    T3 to grd = 9k ohms
    T1 tp T3 = 85k ohms
There is no "diode" action, i.e. they read the same with either polarity.
Also, how does the Overspeed switch work?

The genset is in a 286 Avanti Vee, Cruisers Inc
    Thanks,
