    From that same site, look in the background. Do you see a yellow WIG? I think the red thing is just a raft (for people to retrieve models), not a hovercraft.

    I think there is one of these in Oregon to see how big wave from an offshore eartquake will hit the west coast.

    FYI: Japanese Video

    I could only get the small versions of the Quick-Time videos to work on my computer. Still worth watch even at such a small size.
