It is important to note that each 'stage' must contain both an impeller AND stator, as a 3-stage waterjet isn't just 3 impellers in line on a shaft, but require the stators to correct any rotational inertia created by the blade in front so the next one can 'bite' the water as if it was the first. Hence the Hamilton Jet 212 with turbo impeller option is still only a single stage jet with 2 impellers (bolted together)

Multi-stage units help increase tailpipe pressures by squeezing the water into less volume (usually by using a larger hub) or increasing the pitch to accelerate the water inside. The other advantage is in aireated water. More impeller surface area means more grip.

The Scott 852 has a wide tuneable range, with varing options for impeller pitch and nozzle diameter. Else the 812 is an 8 1/2" pump and Scott jet also do a range of waterjets specifically for the jet sprint circuit.

I take it you are looking at something like this?

    852

the 852 can be matched to any range V8
konrad hand builds the impeller for each 852 so it can match your hp/torq
and rpm you are looking for

No problems. As already discussed, the difference is usually the quality of the materials and sacrificial anodes. This is an added cost for the manufacturer which is then passed on to the consumer.

Multistage waterjets obsolete 30 years ago. It should be remembered.
750 series, which produces Scott, not that other, as discontinued in the production of 750 Hamilton.
At present it is not necessary to have two or three steps, one is enough, but the right one. A matter of choice, or as we say on TV in commercials detergent: "If there is no difference, why pay more!" I apologize for my English, I did not know much else.
So I can not write a lot.

Nothing to do with geographic education but everything to do with terminology, jargon, or choice of words. How would you expect people in other areas of the world to know your termnology of RU. We use CA, would you have known it meant Canada? But I'll bet you know where Canada is . Don't you?

You'd be surprised, but we know better you than you give us.

The fact that Canada is denoted by CA, I know for a long time, and for me it is no secret these abbreviations many other countries.:p

Well you clearly don't know better you than you give us about jetsprint. Look out for posts from NZ and learn. That's New Zealand by the way, but then of course you will know that.

Be careful here dude, CA can also be used to denote California...

I'm sure there are many other double-ups and causes for confusion.

aryanboy, I'll catch up with you a bit later regarding the sprint boat...
