Vintage 1940s Superior/National Supply Series 65-LX-6

    I am looking for information, specifications, photos, sound, etc of the range of motors the Superior series 65-LX-6 etc. Hard to locate any info on what they did produce. It looks like sometimes known as a Type-D 1840, 12x15. (this model # on a engine builders plate). The engine having been in the one and only Ingalls Iron Works Model Ingalls 4-S Locomotive, built in 1946 and used for 20 years.

    Any help much appreciated.
