I have 1976 AQ280 single prop bolted to a Chris Craft (Chevy) small block 350 and am looking to obtain a duo prop lower unit to bolt on. Are they specifics I need to be aware of for this task or can all AQ duo-prop lower units bot on to all gear ratio uppers? My gear ratio is 1.61:1 on my single prop.
Am I correct in assuming a duo-prop lower unit with a ratio of 1.91:1 would work for the conversion?
