Hope you gentlemen can help me. I have a Volvo 280 outdrive which was coupled to a right hand rotation motor. I need to change the outdrive to a left hand rotating motor. Is this possible?
    Thank You

Volvo outdrives don't have a preferred propeller rotation as this can be changed by the linkage under it's cover. Changing the input rotation doesn't seem like it'd be a problem, unless the cone clutch is direction sensitive :?: . I've switched the wet clutch plates around on various bikes without issues if that means anything. I'd say a call to Volvo may be in order.
