Hi folks, seeking schematics for my hardtop weekender fibreglass boat. It's powered by a VW Marine V8 350hp 4.2l diesel engine and Bravo leg dating from 2010 or 2011. This is a pre-Mercury Marine unit (which I understand commenced in mid-2012 and used the same engine albeit 370hp with a different ECI and central control unit).

I have the workshop and parts manuals which don't include detail of the electrical circuits, particularly seeking the central electrics diagrams which are branded VW Marine on the circuit board (not Bosch or Siemens). It has VW CAN bus electronics which I think differ from the later Mercury system which had more features such as electronic diesel fuel pump controls.

For greater clarity my boat is very similar or same as the unit shown in the attached, page 22 Single Engine Central Electronics Box. It has the exact same hardware as page 21, i.e. CAN Control Modules.

    Engine Tech description
    Year Make
    2010 VW Marine
    Part Number Description Qty Model
    05B 100 031 base engine 4.2ltr. 257KW

    Any help appreciated.

    regards
    Markus

Just an update, VW Marine call these "current diagrams" for part 05B 943 011 (relay, fuse and diode board).
