I am a scale modeler and am currently working on a 1:12 scale ELCO 80’ PT boat (late WWII version PT-615). I recently found out about the ELCO launching Crane that was at the 8th & Ave A, Bayonne, NJ facility, but is now located in Rutkowski Park, Bayonne, NJ. I am looking for technical data on the crane. I have contacted Electric Launch Co. (ELCO) and Rutkowski Park directly but neither had any technical data? I am acquainted with PT-Boats, Inc. (http://www.ptboats.org/) but have not seen anything about this launching crane in their database. If anyone can direct me to who might have more information, that would be greatly appreciated.

I have engineering drawings of the ELCO 80’ PT-Boat Cradle and I want to construct an operating version of the launching crane in 1:12 scale.

Thanks. Hope to someday actually build it.

I did find some information, however the owner of that information requested that I not share it with anyone else. I will honor his request. I will post pictures of my project on the RC Scale Ships forum and link you all in.
