I have a lot of oil lubricated vane pumps running, and they are about all trouble free. Just replace the oil yearly. Mostly available in the higher capacity range. (15-100 m3/h)

The roc-r pumps generate just a little less vacuum, but are also cheap to run (maintenance) but in general are a lot smaller. (2-10 m3/h).

Oil free pumps are nice to have in the car. If they fall over, they do not leak oil...

You can get a really great one on ebay if you look for the items sold by bluelooneym I bought a 5 cfm pump for $79 plus shipping and it works great, also it's a continuous operation pump.

Great price on a good pump.
