    Does Any Body Know Any Standard Like Iacs No.47 For An Aluminium Boat Construction?

    I Have Decided To Prepare A Standard For A Small Yard By Changing
    Iacs No.47 For Steel To A Standard For Al Ships.is It Good In Your Mind?
    To Change Rulls I Have To Study About Aluminium Rulls

    Have you tried the Metal Boat Society? http://www.metalboatsociety.org/

    I am sure they can point you to lots of references on this. The USCG used to have a booklet dealing solely with scantling rules for aluminum boats. You may want to check with the MArine Safety Center http://www.uscg.mil/HQ/msc/
