Assuming the use of polyethylene for diesel fuel tank construction, what would be the best material(s) to use for the connections, valves etc?
Lines of course would all be A-1 rated fuel hose.
And can anyone recomend a good source of info on the subject? There's any number of articles / books / forum posts etc on tank construction and installation, but I can find precious little about the remainder of the system.
    Thanks

With diesel fuels the rule is simple: no copper, and no brass. Or you'll have chemical problems.

Use stainless steel. It's a straightforward task and you'll find easily what you need. Any good book on engine installation will give you the hints, there is nothing mysterious.
