Does anyone remember Uffa's wheeled boat? I was recently reminded of it. Described in a book my late grandparents had, it had a profile I would describe as a pickup-truck...Uffa described it as skittering/skipping across the water on oversized tires. After several hours of internet searches, I have found nothing. Any leads would be appreciated. Many thanks!

That is a very cool rig! Is that the Uffa Fox design? I think it may be cooler if not.

Love the size of the spare, compared to the other four !

It looks like a heavily modified Volkswagen Shwimmwagen. They had beetle style engine and gearbox mount backward (mid-engine) with a PTO shaft running a propeller. The spare is the size of the stock tires and they had far less ground clearance. Hard to see how this one gets the prop deep enough.

    It is indeed a Schwimmwagen.

The image is a photoshop fantasy. I suspect the image of the wheels is taken from a radio controlled model.
