    lay-up needds to be translucent

From the stuff I have read and heard from the manufacturers. The light must be able to penatrate the laminate. Mark Livesay...
I think that is the guy from Sunrez????? We spoke on using 1-2mm Coremat (made by the Nida-core people) in my laminate schedual for the sea kayaks I am playing with.He was a bit leary.
I have heard most people use standard catylized resin in a dry bag set-up You could maybe try researching this method.....

    1) Shoot your gel coat, let cure the right amout of time based on your conditions.
2)Do a skin coat using the UV resin system.
3)Bed Your core material in a catylized resin or thickened epoxy
and bag to the skin coat.
4)Bag your inner skin to the core using the UV system

I think this is the way I would try to go. WARNING!!!!SPECULATION...............................................................

I abandoned the uv for my kayaks because the light would not penetrate the Carbon fiber I need to use.
and I could not utilize a silicone reusable vacuum bag.
I don't know if this will help at all, But UV is an expensive Experiment! Good Luck 8Kts

    Hi 8Knts.
just spoke with sunrez & you're correct using uv the foam must be glued in as the uv won't penetrate the foam.
