I try to install a Gas fill and vent on my hull. I need to make an asymetric hole.

I can find a good hole shape that keep enough lips to properly seal or to properly bolts.

Those someone already install this kind of fill or have a template.

I would make a pattern or template to fit under your part, that will seal OK.

A jig saw with an abrasive rather than teeth cuts fiberglass better than a blade with teeth.

Finish to shape with a drill and a rotary bit .

When everything fits good it is wise to seal the fresh cut edges with a bit of epoxy.
