I am building an outboard sled for my 37' catamaran. Could someone tell me what works and what doesn't. Also what kind of hinge works. Thank you

What type / make of catamaran is she please?

Can you post any photos of drawings of her?

Is it just one sled, for one outboard engine?
How much power does your engine(s) have?
Very often cats this size will have two engines.

I presume that you have done some research, and seen various photos / examples of different types of sleds - are there any that you particularly like?
If so, maybe post them (or links to them) on here?

Great input from Bajansailor, please be sure and answer all his questions.

My question is have you used the search engine on this sight for old, relevant posts?
It's in the top right corner of this page.

The cat is a Saas design cruising cat. A 9.9 hp will push it well already know. Really I guess the only question is on the hinge pivot point. If you had any idea of what to use there. Also is a down haul really necessary for reverse? Thank you
