Setup of a boat with two 300 promax outboards.

    Existing setup:

LH gearbox on port, RH gearbox on Stbd. Is this called turning 'out'?

Required setup: The boat is quite unstable at high speeds. when it 'wobbles' - similar but not the same as chine walk ( a very slow chine walk - 2 seconds from side to side )- the prop opposite to the side digging in lifts out the water. Currently ( I think ) the now single prop in the water tries to push the boat further over due to the torque of the prop in the water.

Say: Starbd side diggs in, Port side lifts, port engine not in the water, starbd prop running right tries to push the boat further over to starbd due to torque.

    Possible fix:
Swap gearboxes, then when boat gets a wobble on, the starbd side prop running left now tries to push the boat back straight with the torque, result a better balanced boat.
