Trolling Valve

    I am wondering if anyone has ever installed a troll valve system on a small Velvet Drive Transmission ? and where can I buy it ? thx

    I don't see how a Velvet Drive could me made to function with a trolling valve. The forward clutch is provided its clamping pressure by a Belleview spring, which is activated by the hydraulics. That spring action is very discrete...engaged or not.

    Trolling valves are used on transmissions that use only hydraulic pressure to create the force acting on the clutch disk pack to engage it.
