I would like to power my trip with two trolling motors, at least for a while till I get an electric inboard setup. But I would like to have them run off of one controller because they will be mounted where Ii won't be able to reach the control heads. Is this possible to do? If so, how?

Wouldn't independent control of the motors be preferable? There are a number of YouTube videos that demonstrate relocation of the control portion, it looks like you would just have to lengthen 2 wires.

There's only two wires going down the shaft, to the motor. These can be cut, just as they exit the board on the control head and spliced. Running them off a single control head will likely burn it out fairly quickly. Besides, you'd want separate control for better maneuverability, assuming a fixed mount. What type of boat are you powering this way?

It's a trimaran. I'm mounting them under the wings do I can swivel them up out of the water.
