    Wow, I somehow missed that. These guys are planning to build possibly the most powerful tri ever built with no experience and a belief that a planked hull is 90+% of the work? I was hanging around Lock Crowther's office a bit when he was designing his first really big charter multis, and I remember him discussing how high the loads were and how hard they pressed the limits of possible fittings. Lock was a hugely experience qualified engineer and he was cautious about the loads in smaller boats than this project.

    I hope the casualty list is lower than it could be, in the unlikely event these guys ever hit the water.
