Trim limit sensor

    I just had a new rebuilt Chev 262 86-95 4.3lt V6 motor installed but they didnt connect the trim sensor and the trim limit wires.

    I have found where the trim Sensor wires go and the gauge is working.

    Can anyone tell me where the trim limt wires connect to?:rolleyes:

    What kind of drive do you have? They connect to the wire harness going to the tilt motor. If it is working anyway, someone bypass the wiring.

    The trim sensor is usually a potentiometer. You can measure it with with a multimeter...

    The trim limit is a switch that stops the drive from running to high up

    Its a sterndrive, so it connects to the wire harness and then to the pump and not directly to the Trim Pump. The guage is working yes, but not the Trim limit
